Training Courses Are you considering following a career in Psychology or its health-related applications?
We are about to start running courses here in Coventry to train suitable candidates for practice in the private sector as Stress Therapists and / or Stress Management Consultants. These courses will be suitable for either experienced and mature management calibre individuals who would like to learn how to help other people effectively overcome their stressful problems.For University PSYCHOLOGY GRADUATES who would rather work outside the N.H.S. and offer a direct service to people who do not want to wait indefinitely for a hospital / clinic appointment, Andrew Walton can train you to provide practical and valuable therapeutic interventions to alleviate the commonly encountered psychological problems that frequently cause people understandable but unnecessary distress. You would then become eligible to become an Assistant Psychologist in our independent group practice. You can then work (usually from home) anywhere in your part of the Country. Are you the kind of dependable person who wishes they had more skills in helping others with their personal / relationship problems? YES? Then Apply NOW! The courses we run comprise a primary grounding in the fundamentals of psychological theories combined with a familiarisation to the essential tools of effective therapeutic interventions. There is a practical aspect to the training accompanied by a probationary period of working under senior supervision. Once a trainee has completed their course, on-going consultative support in both professional and commercial areas is offered to develop their successful potential. The lectures and seminars are scheduled for Saturdays and Sundays over a period of between three and six months. Home study materials make up the remainder. A Diploma is awarded on the basis of written and oral presentations. Professional indemnity insurance can then be arranged. The trainers are highly experienced and university accredited Psychologists, working in the private commercial sector. Once trained, a Stress Therapist or Assistant Psychologist can earn up to £ 30,000 + per annum for usually only a 25 hour week. The course fees are being held at £ 2995 all inclusive. Entry to the courses is by e-mail application accompanied by C.V. and recent photograph, followed by personal interview. (There is no psychometric testing.)
