Andrew Walton was seconded as an advisor to the British Olympic Association in 1984 on the personal invitation of the Chief Psychologist, Maurice Yaffe.

He has helped elite Olympic stars of track and field, as well as equestrian, golf and tennis competitors gain a significant competitive advantage by the application of psychological techniques and devices to enhance performance levels.

These same techniques can be learned by any competitive sportsperson at whatever level of involvement they may be. The results of which advantage usually show up in consistent winning performances and unbeatable tenacity.

Andrew Walton is one of a handful of British members of the International Society of Sport Psychology and was a founder member of the Sport & Exercise Section of the British Psychological Society. He was last year, appointed to the highest grade (level 5) Sports Psychologist by the British Association of Sports Psychologists.

With the Coca-Cola Championship League well underway, we are wishing the best of good fortune to

Coventry City FC   The Sky Blues

Not too unusual to find CCFC now in a desperate relegation fight to stay up at the foot of league. Even with new boy Chris Coleman at the helm, we think an injection of applied Sport Psychology is definitely needed at the Ricoh Arena!
